Joel Decker is a former teacher and
coach who entered into the insurance and financial planning
industry in 1980. Joel has served in numerous capacities
in the insurance industry including agency manager,
sales development manager, state director for affinity
groups and association markets. He currently works with
Educators Lifetime Solutions and Education Minnesota
Long Term Care Insurance providing advice and assistance
with Long Term Care insurance to members.
Since 1992, Joel’s emphasis has been elder care,
primarily Medicare Supplemental and Long Term Care Insurance.
Joel is a member of the Society of Senior Advisors
and has earned the Society’s Certified Senior
Advisor (CSA) designation. A seasoned speaker and lecturer,
Joel has presented hundreds of seminars throughout the
United States over the past 18 years. Joel has been
married 40 years, has 3 sons and 7 grandchildren. He
and his wife Vicki live in Prior Lake, MN.
